Crafting Every Wood Type Raft: Acacia, Birch, Spruce and More

One Recipe Per Wood

Just A Raft Mod adds a raft for each wood type: Acacia Log Raft, Bamboo Raft, Birch Log Raft, Cherry Log Raft, Dark Oak Log Raft, Jungle Log Raft, Mangrove Raft, Oak Log Raft, Pale Oak Raft, and Spruce Log Raft. Each one is made with its own matching wood, so an Acacia Log Raft needs Acacia Logs and a Spruce Log Raft needs Spruce Logs.

Matching Logs to Rafts

Collect logs from the tree you want a raft for. Chop Acacia for the Acacia Log Raft, Birch for the Birch Log Raft, and so on. Bamboo is the odd one out — the Bamboo Raft is built from Bamboo rather than a log, so harvest bamboo stalks instead of chopping a tree.

Each raft uses a shaped crafting recipe, so lay the matching logs out in the correct pattern in your crafting grid. The result slot shows the raft for that wood once the layout is right.

Picking the Right Raft

Functionally the rafts all do the same job: carry you across water. The difference is appearance, so choose the wood that matches your build. If you are boating along a jungle river, a Jungle Log Raft fits the scenery; in a cherry grove, take the Cherry Log Raft. Craft several types and keep them at different bases.
