Placing Your First Painting

Jurassic Franchise Paintings work exactly like vanilla Minecraft paintings. To display them:

1. Craft or obtain a painting (use the standard painting recipe)

2. Hold the painting and right-click on any solid block face

3. The painting will appear on that surface

Choosing Your Scene

When you place a painting, the mod randomly selects from its collection of Jurassic movie scenes. If you don't like the result, break the painting and place a new one—each placement is a surprise.

Design Tips

Jurassic paintings vary in size, just like vanilla paintings. Larger scenes work well as focal points in throne rooms, museums, or dinosaur-themed bases. Stone and dirt walls provide authentic movie set backdrops. Try grouping multiple paintings together to create a gallery effect, or place them in hallways to guide players through your base. The detailed dinosaur artwork pairs especially well with stone brick, dark oak wood, and cave-like structures.
