Trigger the Jester's Special Sneaking Greeting

How the Greeting Works

The Jester Ambient Mob Model includes a unique interaction: when you sneak near a jester, it will engage you with a special greeting animation and response. This is built into the mob's behavior and requires no additional setup.

Activating the Greeting

Approach a spawned jester and hold Shift (or your configured sneak key) while nearby. The jester will detect your sneaking and trigger its greeting animation. This works automatically once the mob is properly spawned and the resource pack is installed.

Tips for Best Results

Stay within a reasonable distance of the jester for reliable detection. The greeting animation showcases the mob's idle animations, so watch for the playful response. This mechanic is ideal for interactive event areas or April Fools' pranks where players discover the jester's mischievous personality.
