What Each Jerry Tool Does

The Jerry tool line covers every standard role. Jerry Pickaxe mines stone and ore, including Slime Ore and Deepslate Slime Ore. Jerry Axe chops wood. Jerry Shovel moves dirt, sand, and gravel. Jerry Hoe tills soil for farming. Jerry Sword handles combat. Each is a crafting_shaped recipe made from Jerry Gem, so craft the ones that match your current task rather than the whole set at once.

Matching Tools to Jobs

If you are clearing a mine, bring Jerry Pickaxe and Jerry Shovel. If you are building a base, Jerry Axe and Jerry Shovel carry the load. If you are starting a farm, craft the Jerry Hoe and till a plot near water. The Jerry Sword pairs with any of them for mob defense underground or at night.

Repair and Replacement

Jerry tools wear down like any tool. Keep a reserve of Jerry Gem in a chest at your base so you can recraft a broken Jerry Pickaxe or Jerry Axe without a full mining trip. If you have not yet moved to the Jerry tier, the Slime equivalents — Slime Pickaxe, Slime Axe, Slime Shovel, Slime Hoe, Slime Sword — fill the same roles and are cheaper to replace while you gather Jerry Gem.
