Upgrading from Slime Gear to Jerry Gear

The Jerry Tier

Jerry gear is the second equipment line in the mod. It mirrors the Slime set piece for piece: Jerry Helmet, Jerry Chestplate, Jerry Leggings, Jerry Boots, Jerry Sword, Jerry Pickaxe, Jerry Axe, Jerry Shovel, and Jerry Hoe. Where the Slime line is built from Slime Gem, the Jerry line is built from Jerry Gem. Jerry Gem is produced by smelting, the same processing type used for Slime Gem.

Getting Jerry Gem

Jerry Gem is the bottleneck for the whole tier. Smelt your Jerry Gem input in a furnace the same way you smelt Slime Shard into Slime Gem. Because smelting is one of only two recipe types in the mod, treat your furnace as the gateway to every Jerry item — stock fuel, queue smelts, and collect the Jerry Gem before you touch a crafting table.

Crafting Order

Craft Jerry tools and armor with the same shaped layouts you used for the Slime versions, substituting Jerry Gem. Prioritize Jerry Pickaxe, then Jerry Sword, then Jerry Chestplate and the rest of the armor. Keep your old Slime set as a backup or for enchanting. There is also a Captain Of Light item in the registry — hold onto one if you find it, since it sits alongside the Jerry tier rather than the Slime tier.
