How to Get Started with Jerry's: Slime Ore to Slime Gear

Mine the Ores

Start underground. Slime Ore generates in stone, and Deepslate Slime Ore generates in the deepslate layer below it. Mine both with any pickaxe and collect the drops. These two blocks are your only ore sources, so branch-mine until you have a stack of raw material before moving on.

Turn Drops into Slime Shards

Smelt your ore drops in a furnace. Smelting is one of the two recipe types this mod uses, and it converts your mined ore into Slime Shard. Keep a furnace running while you mine so shards accumulate in parallel.

Craft the Slime Set

With Slime Shard in hand, craft the full equipment line:

• Slime Sword, Slime Pickaxe, Slime Axe, Slime Shovel, Slime Hoe
• Slime Helmet, Slime Chestplate, Slime Leggings, Slime Boots

All of these are crafting_shaped recipes, so lay the shards out in the standard tool, weapon and armor patterns you already know. Craft the pickaxe first so you can mine faster, then the sword, then armor pieces as shards allow.

Where Slime Gem Fits

The Slime Gem is part of the same progression. Hold onto any you obtain rather than spending them early — they belong to the upgrade path toward the Jerry tier, not the basic Slime tier. Finish your Slime Shard gear before you worry about them.
