How to Craft and Use the Jerry Axe, Pickaxe, Shovel and Hoe

Crafting the Jerry Tools

Each Jerry tool is made with a crafting_shaped recipe. Gather Jerry Gem and the matching vanilla tool head material, then arrange them in the standard tool pattern on a crafting table.

• Jerry Axe — Jerry Gem plus the axe head layout.
• Jerry Pickaxe — Jerry Gem plus the pickaxe head layout.
• Jerry Shovel — Jerry Gem plus the shovel head layout.
• Jerry Hoe — Jerry Gem plus the hoe head layout.

Place the Jerry Gem where the tool material normally sits and fill the remaining slots with sticks in the usual positions.

Using the Tools

Equip a Jerry tool in your main hand and use it exactly like its vanilla counterpart. The Jerry Axe chops wood, the Jerry Pickaxe mines stone and ore, the Jerry Shovel digs dirt, sand and gravel, and the Jerry Hoe tills farmland. Durability and mining speed follow the tool you crafted.

If you want a second tier, repeat the same shaped recipes using Slime Shard instead of Jerry Gem to produce the Slime Axe, Slime Pickaxe, Slime Shovel and Slime Hoe. Keep a spare Jerry Gem in your inventory so you can recraft a broken tool without returning to base.
