Track Speedrunners with the Hunter Compass

Equip and Use the Compass

Hunters receive a special compass that points toward active speedrunners. This is your primary tracking tool throughout the match.

Adjust Compass Behavior

The compass refresh rate determines how often it updates its target direction. Configure this in your plugin settings:

• Faster refresh: More responsive tracking but higher server load
• Slower refresh: Reduces lag but gives runners brief windows to hide

Right-click the compass at any time to force an immediate update, useful when a runner changes direction suddenly or enters a new dimension.

Dimension Tracking

The compass works across all dimensions—when a speedrunner escapes to the Nether or End, your compass automatically adjusts to point through portals. This keeps hunters engaged even when chasing across worlds.

Coordinate with Your Team

Share compass updates verbally or through chat to coordinate hunter positions and cut off runner escape routes.
