Set Up a Manhunt Match Arena
Prepare Your World
Before starting a match, designate a play area where hunters and speedrunners will operate. The plugin uses a grid-based single-world system, so all action happens in one location rather than separate instances.
Configure Match Settings
1. Define the boundaries of your manhunt arena using the plugin's configuration commands
2. Decide which dimensions players can access—most matches allow the Overworld, Nether, and End
3. Toggle challenge modifiers on or off (one-heart mode, no jumping, lucky blocks) to customize difficulty
4. Set the dragon as your win condition, or adjust rules to suit your server's playstyle
Enable World Reset
The grid-based reset engine automatically cleans up your arena between matches. Configure it to:
- Clear player-placed blocks and mobs from the previous game
- Reset the End dimension so the dragon respawns
- Preserve spawn points and protected structures
Once configured, the plugin handles cleanup automatically when a match ends, keeping your arena fresh for the next round without manual intervention.
