Optimize Shader Performance
Checking Your Frame Rate
Before adjusting settings, open your debug screen (F3 on most systems) to monitor frames per second while the shader is active. This helps you identify performance issues.
Performance Adjustments
1. Reduce render distance — lower this setting in Video Settings to decrease the amount of terrain the shader must process
2. Lower graphics quality — switch from Fabulous to Fancy or Fast mode if available
3. Disable particle effects — reduce visual clutter in Video Settings
4. Close background applications — free up system RAM and GPU resources
5. Allocate more RAM — if using a launcher, increase the memory allocation to your Minecraft instance
Shader-Specific Tips
The ItsJxk Inception FREE shader maintains vanilla aesthetics, which helps keep performance reasonable. If you still experience lag, try disabling the shader temporarily to confirm it's the cause. Some older graphics cards may struggle with the terrain bending calculations. In these cases, the shader may not be compatible with your system.
