Optimize ISKRA for Your System's Performance
Identify Your System Tier
ISKRA is built to run on low-end and mid-range computers, but optimization depends on your specific hardware. If you're experiencing framerate drops, start by identifying which features impact your performance most.
Reduce Quality Settings Gradually
Access shader settings and look for options like shadow distance, caustic quality, or water detail. Disable or lower these one at a time, then test performance in different biomes. This helps you find the sweet spot between visual quality and stable framerate.
Disable Unnecessary Effects
If performance is critical, consider disabling caustics or reducing foam density. Rain ripples have minimal impact, but can be toggled if needed. Color grading and warm tones have negligible performance cost and can usually stay enabled.
Monitor Framerate in Various Conditions
Test your framerate during daytime, sunset, rain, and underwater. Different conditions stress your GPU differently. ISKRA should maintain smooth performance in most scenarios on its target hardware, but complex terrain or large render distances may require adjustment.
Restart Your Game After Changes
Some shader settings require a game restart to take full effect. If adjustments don't seem to apply, close and reopen Minecraft.
