Iron Jetpacks Progression: Coils, Thrusters, and Tiers

The Component Chain

Every Jetpack is built around a Thruster of the same tier. Thrusters and Jetpacks are crafted from Coils: Basic Coil, Advanced Coil, Elite Coil, and Ultimate Coil. Each tier of Coil feeds the matching tier of Thruster and Jetpack. A Leather Strap is used in crafting the pack itself. Work up the coil tiers in order, since each higher tier depends on the components below it.

Storage and Power

A Capacitor provides the energy storage used across the mod's recipes, and an Energy Cell stores and transfers energy to your gear. Match the Capacitor tier to your Jetpack tier so the buffer and charge rate keep up. Build an Energy Cell early so you always have a way to recharge a Jetpack after a flight.

Order of Crafting

Start with a Basic Coil, then craft a Basic Thruster and Basic Jetpack. Add a Leather Strap when assembling the pack. Build a Capacitor and an Energy Cell to store and move energy. Once flying reliably, craft the Advanced Coil, then the Advanced Thruster and Jetpack, and repeat for Elite and Ultimate. Upgrade the Capacitor alongside each Jetpack tier so energy capacity grows with thrust.
