Crafting Iron Jetpack Components and Tiers

The Five Components

The mod uses five registry items in its recipes: Basic Coil, Advanced Coil, Elite Coil, Ultimate Coil, and Leather Strap. Every recipe is a shaped crafting recipe, meaning the position of each ingredient in the grid matters. Open the recipe viewer and match the pattern exactly.

Tier Progression

Start by crafting a Basic Coil. This is the foundation component for the lowest jetpack tier. Once you have a Basic Coil and a Leather Strap, craft the entry-level jetpack.

To move up a tier, craft the next coil:

1. Basic Coil — entry tier component.

2. Advanced Coil — used for the second jetpack tier.

3. Elite Coil — used for the third jetpack tier.

4. Ultimate Coil — used for the top jetpack tier.

Each coil is made through its own shaped crafting recipe, so gather the required materials before starting. Leather Strap appears in jetpack recipes across tiers, so keep a stock of it on hand.

Practical Crafting Tips

• Craft coils in batches so you always have a spare for the next upgrade.
• Keep Leather Strap stocked; it is used repeatedly across recipes.
• Use the recipe viewer to confirm grid placement — a misplaced ingredient produces nothing.
• Build the next coil before dismantling your current jetpack, so you are never left without flight.
