Configure Food Values for Iron Series Items

Locating Your Configuration Files

Once Iron Core Mod detects your installed Iron Series addons (Iron Carrots, Iron Apples, Iron Barrels), it automatically generates configuration files in a unified IronCore folder. Navigate to your game's config directory to find this folder.

Editing Hunger and Saturation Settings

Open the configuration file corresponding to the addon you want to modify. Each file contains settings for hunger points and saturation modifiers for that addon's food items.

Locate the hunger value entry for your target item—this controls how many hunger points the food restores when eaten. The saturation modifier determines how long the hunger bar stays full after consuming the item.

Edit these numeric values to your preferred amounts, then save the file. The changes take effect the next time you launch the game or reload your world.

Testing Your Changes

Craft or obtain the modified food item and consume it in-game to verify the new hunger and saturation values match your configuration.
