Preparing the Tankcar

The tankcar is designed to move liquids like water, lava, or modded fluids over long distances. Place it on your track and attach it to a suitable locomotive—the RTLC-02 or RTLC-04 work well for heavy loads.

Filling and Routing

Fill the tankcar by using a fluid container or bucket on its input port, or pipe fluids directly into it using compatible mods. Plan your route to connect source and destination points with continuous track.

Unloading at Your Destination

When you reach your destination, extract fluids from the tankcar using buckets, containers, or connected pipes. The tankcar's capacity allows you to move significant quantities without multiple trips, making it ideal for supplying distant bases with water or fuel.

For efficiency, establish a regular route between your liquid source and multiple destinations, using the same tankcar repeatedly.
