Mine Resources Efficiently While Inverted
Locating Ores and Resources
With the world flipped upside down, ore distribution remains the same—only your perspective changes. Ores still spawn at their normal depths; you're just viewing them from an inverted angle.
Mining Strategy
Finding Caves and Tunnels:
- Caves appear as solid areas on your inverted screen. Look for darker patches where the sky (now at the bottom) shows through.
- Dig downward (which appears as upward on your screen) to create mine shafts.
- Use torches to light your way; they work normally despite the inversion.
Efficient Digging:
- Strip mining works the same way—create long horizontal tunnels and branch off systematically.
- Remember that falling damage still applies; avoid mining under yourself since falling "up" (toward the terrain above your head) is still dangerous.
- Bring a water bucket to negate fall damage if you accidentally drop.
Resource Collection
Dropped items still fall toward the actual ground (which is above you visually). Collect them quickly before they despawn. Use hoppers and chests positioned carefully to account for the inverted gravity direction.
