Optimize InvertColors Shaders Performance on Low-End Hardware
Reduce Render Distance
Lower your render distance in Video Settings to improve frame rates. Start at 8-12 chunks and increase gradually until you notice frame drops. InvertColors is lightweight, but render distance has the biggest impact on performance across all systems.
Lower Graphics Settings
Disable or reduce:
- Clouds rendering
- Smooth lighting
- Particles
- Animated textures
These changes stack with the shader's efficiency to keep your frame rate stable even on older laptops.
Monitor Frame Rate
Open the debug screen (F3) to watch your FPS in real-time. If it drops below your target, reduce render distance first, then graphics options. InvertColors Shaders should maintain 60+ FPS on basic hardware when properly configured—if not, your render distance is likely too high for your system.
