Create an Alien Aesthetic Base or Build with Inverted Colors

Plan Your Color Palette

Before building, understand how your chosen blocks will look inverted. Grass becomes magenta, water becomes orange-yellow, and stone becomes lighter. Sketch your design on paper or in Creative Mode with the shader active to preview the final aesthetic.

Use Contrasting Blocks

Select blocks with colors that create strong contrast when inverted. Combine blocks that are normally opposite on the color wheel—they'll look even more striking in inverted form. Test combinations in a small area first.

Build Intentionally for the Shader

Design structures that look intentionally alien: use unusual block combinations, create geometric patterns, and embrace the surreal color shifts. The inverted effect turns ordinary builds into sci-fi landscapes. Document your build with screenshots while the shader is active to show off the unique aesthetic to other players.
