Suppressing Generator Side Effects with the No Effect Upgrade

When to Use It

Some Inventory Generators apply an effect while running. If that effect damages blocks, mobs, or your own setup, the No Effect Upgrade removes it. Craft the upgrade using its shaped recipe, then keep it ready for any generator that misbehaves.

Installing and Combining

Open the generator's interface and place the No Effect Upgrade into an upgrade slot. It occupies a slot that could otherwise hold a Speed Upgrade or Auto Pull Upgrade, so decide which matters more for that generator. If you need both speed and no effect, use a generator with enough upgrade slots to hold both.

Workflow

1. Place the generator and connect its fuel source.

2. Run it once and observe the side effect.

3. If the effect is unwanted, shut the generator down and insert the No Effect Upgrade.

4. Restart and confirm the effect is gone.

5. Add a Speed Upgrade or Auto Pull Upgrade only if slots remain.

This upgrade is most useful on generators whose effects spread to nearby blocks or entities, such as the explosive, frosty, or halitosis variants. Keep one crafted and stored near your generator array so you can respond quickly when a new generator introduces an effect you did not expect.
