How to Transfer Energy with Part Exporter Energy and Part Importer Energy

Placing the energy parts

Attach a Part Exporter Energy to the block that produces or stores energy. Attach a Part Importer Energy to the block that consumes or stores it. Both parts must be placed against energy-capable blocks. Open each interface to verify the attachment.

Linking the pair

In the Part Exporter Energy interface, set the Part Importer Energy as the target. Energy then flows from the exporter's block to the importer's block. The transfer continues as long as the source has energy and the destination can accept it. To feed several consumers from one source, route the exporter through a Part Interface Energy and point each importer at that interface.

Limiting the transfer

Insert a Part Interface Filter Energy into the route to cap or restrict the energy passing through. The filter controls what the network allows, keeping a destination from drawing more than intended.

Verifying the connection

If energy does not move, confirm the exporter touches an energy source and the importer touches an energy sink. Check that both parts are on the same channel. Once linked correctly, the pair transfers energy continuously without player involvement.
