How to Move Items Between Two Inventories with Part Exporter Item and Part Importer Item
Placing the parts
Place a Part Exporter Item against the inventory you want to pull from. Place a Part Importer Item against the inventory you want to fill. Both parts must touch the block they serve. Once placed, open each part's interface to confirm it is bound to the correct inventory.
Linking exporter to importer
Open the Part Exporter Item interface and set its target to the Part Importer Item. The exporter pushes, the importer receives. If the importer's inventory is full, the exporter stops sending until space frees up. Use the Part Interface Item as a shared endpoint when several exporters or importers must reach the same destination — route each part to the interface instead of wiring every part to every other part.
Filtering what moves
Insert a Part Interface Filter Item into the network path to restrict which items pass. The filter sits between the exporter and importer and only lets matching items through. This is the correct way to keep a specific item type flowing while blocking everything else.
Checking the flow
Watch the exporter's status while items move. If nothing transfers, verify the exporter faces the source inventory and the importer faces the destination. Confirm both parts are set to the same channel. A working pair moves items continuously without player interaction.
