How to Set Up Your First Logic Network
Place the core blocks
Place a Logic Programmer where you want to author logic. Connect it to other blocks with Logic Cable. Cable carries variable signals between parts, so run it from the Logic Programmer to wherever your readers and writers sit.
Attach a Part Connector Mono Directional where you need a one-way link between cable runs. Use a Wrench to rotate or detach cables and parts without breaking them.
Add readers and writers
Right-click a cable with a part to attach it. Part Block Reader, Part Inventory Reader, Part Fluid Reader, Part Entity Reader, Part Machine Reader, Part Redstone Reader, Part World Reader, Part Network Reader, Part Audio Reader, and Part Extradimensional Reader pull data in. Part Inventory Writer, Part Entity Writer, Part Effect Writer, Part Audio Writer, Part Redstone Writer, and Part Machine Writer push data out.
Author logic on the Logic Programmer using Variable Cards. Store finished variables in a Variable Store. Use Input Variable Transformer and Output Variable Transformer to adapt signals entering and leaving the network.
Add a Part Display Panel or Part Static Light Panel to read values at a glance. Part Dynamic Light Panel changes with the signal. A Proxy lets one part stand in for a group. A Delayer holds a signal for a set time. A Labeller names variables so you can find them later. Carry the Portable Logic Programmer to edit logic away from the main setup.
