How to Get Started with Menril Wood and Menril Resin

Grow and harvest Menril

Find or plant a Menril Sapling to grow a Menril Log tree. Break the leaves to collect Menril Berries and more saplings. Chop the trunk for Menril Log, then craft it into Menril Planks, Menril Wood, Stripped Menril Log, Stripped Menril Wood, Menril Stairs, Menril Slab, Menril Fence, Menril Fence Gate, and Menril Door using standard wood recipes in a crafting table.

Collect Menril Resin

Menril trees produce Menril Resin. Carry a bucket to collect Menril Resin Bucket, or gather the resin item directly. Resin is the base material for the mod's logic components.

Process resin into crystal

Place Menril Resin in a Drying Basin to dry it into Crystallized Menril Chunk. If you want it faster, build a Mechanical Drying Basin and power it. From Crystallized Menril Chunk, craft Block of Crystallized Menril, then cut it into Crystallized Menril Brick, Crystallized Menril Brick Slab, Crystallized Menril Brick Stairs, Crystallized Menril Slab, and Crystallized Menril Stairs at a stonecutter.

Light your base

Craft Menril Torch and Menril Stone Torch for lighting. Invisible Light is available if you need light without a visible source.

With crystallized menril and resin in hand, you can move on to crafting Logic Cable, Variable Card, and the parts that make up a logic network.
