Using Optional Structures from Dependency Mods

Enable Optional Dungeons

Integrated Dungeons Arise adds special structures when matching mods are installed. The Mining Complex appears when its dependency mod is present—a massive underground structure with custom ore blocks and industrial decoration. The Heavenly End dungeon generates in the End dimension when required mods are active.

Finding Mod-Specific Structures

These optional dungeons follow the same generation rules as standard structures: they only spawn in newly created chunks after the data pack loads. Search in appropriate dimensions—Mining Complex in deep underground areas, Heavenly End in the End.

Optional structures use blocks from their dependency mods extensively. Mining Complex features Create mod machinery and gears. Heavenly End incorporates End-themed blocks and decorative elements from installed mods.

Preparation Differences

Optional dungeons may have unique layouts and loot tables compared to standard structures. Bring versatile equipment since mob types and spawner configurations might differ. These structures are typically larger and more complex, requiring more time and resources to clear completely.

Verify your dependency mods are installed and updated. If a mod is missing, its associated optional structures won't generate, even if the data pack is active.
