How to Get Started with the Inspirations Mod

First Steps

Place your first Inspirations block by opening your inventory and locating the mod's tab. If no tab appears, the mod is not loaded — check that the mod file sits in your mods folder alongside the correct loader for your game version.

Core Progression

1. Gather the base materials the mod expects (wood, stone, and the vanilla items used in its recipes).

2. Open the crafting grid and search recipe viewers (JEI/REI) for entries tagged Inspirations.

3. Craft the simplest block first — usually a decorative or utility block — then use it as a crafting ingredient for the next tier.

4. Place blocks in-world to test behaviour before mass-producing them.

Common Mistakes

• Assuming every recipe is shapeless; many require exact grid positions.
• Skipping the recipe viewer — the mod's items rarely appear in the vanilla recipe book.
• Forgetting that some blocks need a specific tool tier to drop themselves.

Verifying Installation

Type /mods (or check the mod list screen) and confirm Inspirations is listed. If it is missing, the game will not load any of its blocks or items, and no recipes will appear in JEI.
