Stop Console Spam from Library Mods

Why You're Seeing Extra Messages

When multiple mods depend on the CICADA library, they often send duplicate status messages, warnings, and debug text to your console. This fills your server logs and makes it harder to spot real errors.

How Insecticide Fixes This

Insecticide Mod replaces CICADA with a lightweight version that keeps all the backend utilities other mods need—so they work normally—but strips out the unnecessary console output.

To verify it's working:

1. Launch your game or server with Insecticide installed alongside mods that use CICADA

2. Open your console (F3 + T in single-player, or check server logs)

3. Compare the message volume to before—you should see significantly fewer library-related spam lines

4. Check that dependent mods still function correctly (they will; only the noise is removed)

You don't need to configure anything. Insecticide works as a drop-in replacement, so once it's in your mods folder, the console cleaning happens automatically. If a mod was crashing due to CICADA conflicts, it should now run smoothly.
