How to Craft a Frayed Backpack in Inmis

A Frayed Backpack is the entry point to Inmis storage. You need string and leather, then arrange them in a shaped crafting recipe at a crafting table. The Frayed Backpack is the smallest capacity backpack in the mod, so treat it as a stepping stone rather than a long-term solution.

Craft and Equip

Place the ingredients in the crafting grid following the shaped pattern to produce one Frayed Backpack. Once crafted, the backpack goes into a dedicated slot rather than your hotbar. Open your inventory and look for the backpack slot to equip it. When equipped, the backpack provides extra storage accessible from the inventory screen.

Upgrade Path

Once you have a Frayed Backpack, you can work toward larger backpacks. The Plated Backpack, Gilded Backpack, Bejeweled Backpack, Blazing Backpack, Withered Backpack, and Endless Backpack all exist as separate registry items, each crafted through its own shaped recipe. Each tier generally requires the previous backpack plus additional materials, so plan your resource gathering around the tier you want next. If you only need portable storage for short trips, the Frayed Backpack is enough. If you plan to haul loot from long expeditions, aim higher.
