Choosing Between Backpacks and the Ender Pouch

Two Different Tools

Inmis gives you two storage approaches. Backpacks — Frayed Backpack, Plated Backpack, Gilded Backpack, Bejeweled Backpack, Blazing Backpack, Withered Backpack, and Endless Backpack — are equipped in the backpack slot and expand your carry capacity. The Ender Pouch is a separate item that gives you access to ender-linked storage from anywhere.

When to Use a Backpack

Use a backpack when you need more inventory space on your person. Each tier is crafted with its own shaped recipe, and higher tiers generally require the previous backpack plus extra materials. Start with a Frayed Backpack if you are early in progression, then upgrade toward Plated, Gilded, Bejeweled, Blazing, Withered, or Endless as your resource stock allows. Backpacks are ideal for mining trips, exploration, and hauling loot.

When to Use the Ender Pouch

Use the Ender Pouch when you need to reach stored items without returning to base. It is crafted independently with its own shaped recipe and does not occupy the backpack slot, so you can carry it alongside an equipped backpack. This makes it useful for retrieving forgotten tools or depositing valuables mid-trip.

Combining Both

Because the Ender Pouch and backpacks use different slots, the strongest setup is to equip the highest backpack tier you can craft and carry an Ender Pouch in your inventory. That gives you both expanded carry capacity and remote storage access at the same time.
