Setting Up Fluids: Pipes, Tanks, and the Fluid Infuser
Moving Fluids
Fluid Pipe MK1 is your entry point for fluid transport. Run Fluid Pipe MK1 from a source machine to a destination, then upgrade to Fluid Pipe MK2, MK3, and MK4 as throughput needs grow. Use a Pump to pull fluid from a Tank or machine output, and a Drain to remove unwanted fluid from a system. An Intake feeds fluid into a processing chain, while a Duct handles gas or air movement where required.
Storage and Processing
Place a Tank to buffer fluids on your network. The Fluid Infuser MK1 accepts fluid and items to produce infused outputs; upgrade through Fluid Infuser MK2, MK3, and MK4 for higher rates. The Electrolytic Separator MK2, MK3, and MK4 split fluids into component outputs — start with the MK2 and scale up as your power supply allows.
Supporting Infrastructure
Fluid machines need consistent power. Run Cable MK2 or higher to your Fluid Infuser and Electrolytic Separator, and place a Battery nearby to smooth demand. Use a Condenser where fluid recovery is needed. Keep a Cooler Cell and Heatsink installed on machines that generate heat during operation, and monitor the setup with an Energy Reader until flow and power are stable.
