Automating Farms and Fishing with MK1–MK4 Machines
Farming Machines
Place a Farmer MK1 on tilled soil to begin automated planting and harvesting. As your farm expands, upgrade to Farmer MK2, Farmer MK3, and Farmer MK4 for greater range and speed. Supply each Farmer with power via Cable MK1 or higher from a Coal Generator, Heat Generator, or Solar Generator. Use a Controller to coordinate multiple machines on a single network.
Fishing Machines
Basic Fisher is your first automated fishing block. Upgrade to Improved Fisher and then Advanced Fisher for better yields. Place the Fisher adjacent to water and connect it to your power network. Output items can be routed with a Retriever Servo or Output Servo into a nearby Cabinet or Silo for storage.
Logistics and Control
Use Output Servo to push finished products out of a machine and Retriever Servo to pull items from storage into a machine. A Controller ties your automated line together, and a Data Card Encoder lets you configure routing behavior. A Warning Strobe signals when a machine stalls or a buffer fills. Keep a Charge Pad near your farm so you can top up modular armor between maintenance runs, and store spare Cooler Cell and Heat Coil components in a Cabinet for quick swaps.
