Setting Up the Laser Drill and Laser Lenses

Building the Drill

Place a Laser Drill and supply it with power. The Laser Drill mines ores from the world below it when powered and given a clear working area. Surround it with Fluid Laser Base blocks to extend the drilling area.

Choosing Laser Lenses

Laser Lens items change what the Laser Drill produces. Available lenses include White Laser Lens, Black Laser Lens, Blue Laser Lens, Green Laser Lens, Red Laser Lens, Cyan Laser Lens, Gray Laser Lens, Brown Laser Lens, Light Blue Laser Lens, Light Gray Laser Lens, and Laser Lens (Inverted). Insert a lens into the drill to bias its output toward that color's ore set.

Power and Logistics

Feed the Laser Drill from a generator such as the Biofuel Generator, Lava Fabricator, or a Mycelial Generator variant. Extract mined ore with an Item Transporter or Conveyor Belt into a chest or processing line. Use an Item Splitter if you route output to multiple destinations.

Expanding Output

Add more Fluid Laser Base blocks to widen the drill's reach. Combine the Laser Drill with a Fortune Addon to improve yields. Keep power buffered in an Energy Field Provider so the drill keeps running between generator cycles.
