Running the Laser Drill and Ore Laser Base

Setup

Place a Laser Drill above an Ore Laser Base. The Laser Drill needs power and Laser Lenses to operate. Insert a Laser Lens into the drill to set which ores it can produce.

Lenses available: White Laser Lens, Orange Laser Lens, Magenta Laser Lens, Light Blue Laser Lens, Yellow (via Dye Mixer combinations), Lime Laser Lens, Pink Laser Lens, Gray Laser Lens, Light Gray Laser Lens, Cyan Laser Lens, Purple Laser Lens, Blue Laser Lens, Brown Laser Lens, Green Laser Lens, Red Laser Lens, Black Laser Lens.

Each lens biases the drill toward different ore outputs. Swap lenses to target the ores you need.

Power and Output

Power the Laser Drill with a generator such as the Pitiful Generator, Biofuel Generator, or a Mycelial Generator variant. The drill consumes power continuously while running.

Mined ores appear in the Ore Laser Base inventory or are pushed out via Item Transporter. Route them to a chest or directly into a processing line.

Tips

• Keep multiple lenses in a chest nearby so you can retarget quickly.
• The Laser Drill works without a player nearby once powered.
• Combine with a Mob Crusher or Washing Factory if you want to process the raw ore further.
