Moving Items and Fluids Between Machines

Industrial Foregoing moves items with Item Transporter and Conveyor Belt, and fluids with Fluid Transporter.

Item Transport

Place an Item Transporter between a machine's output and a chest. It pulls from the source and pushes to the destination. For floor-level routing, lay Conveyor Belt and use upgrades to control behavior: Conveyor Insertion Upgrade, Conveyor Extraction Upgrade, Conveyor Detection Upgrade, Conveyor Dropping Upgrade, Conveyor Blinking Upgrade, Conveyor Bouncing Upgrade, and Conveyor Splitting Upgrade. Splitting sends items to multiple outputs; detection triggers on items passing; dropping releases items downward.

Fluid Transport

Use Fluid Transporter pipes to move Latex, Essence, Biofuel, Liquid Meat, Ether Gas, Fermented Ore Meat, and other fluids between tanks and machines. Connect a Fluid Pump to a source to extract fluid into the network.

Splitting and Storage

Use an Item Splitter to divide one input stream across several outputs — useful when feeding multiple machines from one source. Terminate lines into a Common Black Hole Unit or Advanced Black Hole Unit for items, and a Common Black Hole Tank or Advanced Black Hole Tank for fluids, so nothing backs up. Label units with a Black Hole Label so you can identify contents at a glance.
