How to Make Latex and Process It Into Rubber

Collecting Latex

Place a Fluid Collector against a tree trunk. The block harvests Latex Bucket output from nearby logs without cutting them down. Route the Latex Bucket fluid into a tank, then feed it to a Latex Processing Unit.

Turning Latex Into Rubber

A Latex Processing Unit consumes Latex Bucket and produces Dry Rubber. Dry Rubber is the base material for the mod's machine frames and gears. Combine Dry Rubber in a crafting grid to make the rubber components used across machines.

Scaling Up

Once you have steady Latex, expand with a Fluid Pump to move fluids between tanks and machines. Store bulk Latex in a Black Hole Tank or Common Black Hole Tank so you are not limited by bucket stacks. Use a Fluid Dictionary Converter if you need to match Latex against other fluid tags in your pack.

Feeding Other Machines

Latex and Dry Rubber feed into the Dissolution Chamber and Fermentation Station chains. Keep a buffer of Dry Rubber on hand before building Advanced Machine Frame components, since many higher-tier machines consume rubber-based parts. If your tree farm is small, add more Fluid Collectors around the same trunk area to raise Latex throughput.
