Building a Compact Crafting Station Slab Setup

The Crafting Station Slab gives you crafting in a half-height block. It is the slab version of the Crafting Station, so it fits into builds where a full block would be too tall or too bulky.

Crafting the Slab

Produce the Crafting Station Slab in the crafting grid using the recipe shown for it. The recipe is a crafting recipe, so place the required items in the grid and take the result. If you already have a Crafting Station, you can work from that toward the slab form.

Placing and Using It

1. Place the Crafting Station Slab on a solid surface.

2. Interact with it to open the crafting interface.

3. Craft your recipes as normal from the grid.

4. Break the slab to pick it up and move it.

Because it is a slab, you can run it along a wall, tuck it under a window, or set it into a floor. Combine it with Crafting Table Slab, Furnace Slab, Blast Furnace Slab, Smoker Slab, Cartography Table Slab, Loom Slab and Jukebox Slab to build a single compact workstation row where every station is half-height.
