How to Upgrade a Backpack with Pockets

Understand the Pocket Tiers

The mod adds three pocket items that increase a backpack's storage: Tiny Pocket, Medium Pocket, and Large Pocket. They form a progression — Tiny is the smallest upgrade, Large is the biggest.

Apply the Upgrade

Pockets are produced through sewing recipes on the Sewing Table, using Tanned Leather and Sewing Spool. Once you have a pocket, apply it to a backpack to expand that backpack's inventory.

Steps:

1. Craft Tanned Leather (smelt Bound Leather) and a Sewing Spool.

2. At the Sewing Table, sew a Tiny Pocket first.

3. Sew a Medium Pocket, then a Large Pocket, as your materials allow.

4. Combine the pocket with the backpack you want to upgrade.

Upgrade order matters: start with Tiny Pocket, then Medium Pocket, then Large Pocket. Each tier adds more slots than the previous one, so upgrading a single backpack through all three tiers gives you the largest capacity the mod offers.

If you carry several backpacks, upgrade the one you use most first. Pockets are consumed when applied, so plan how many Tanned Leather and Sewing Spools you need before starting — one of each pocket tier per backpack you intend to fully upgrade.
