How to Craft a Backpack with the Sewing Table

Build the Sewing Table

Place a Sewing Table to unlock the mod's sewing recipes. The Sewing Table is the workstation for every backpack and pocket recipe, so craft it first and keep it near your storage area.

Sew Your First Backpack

Use the Sewing Table's sewing recipe type to produce a backpack. The recipes consume Tanned Leather and Sewing Spool as their core inputs, and the color of the finished backpack depends on the dye or colored material you feed into the sewing recipe.

Steps:

1. Craft Tanned Leather by processing Bound Leather in a furnace (smelting recipe).

2. Craft a Sewing Spool.

3. Place the Sewing Table and open its sewing interface.

4. Insert Tanned Leather, a Sewing Spool, and the color ingredient for the backpack you want.

5. Take the finished backpack out of the output slot.

Available colors match the registry: Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow Backpack. The Ender Backpack is also craftable through sewing and behaves as a separate storage option.

Keep extra Tanned Leather and Sewing Spools on hand — every color variant uses the same base materials, so batching them saves trips.
