How to Craft the Ancient Trident in Impaled Mod

Gather the Base Items

The Ancient Trident is produced through a smithing recipe, so you need a smithing table plus the correct template and base item. Place the smithing table and open it. The Ancient Trident requires the trident-family base item and the appropriate upgrade material from the Impaled Mod registry. Keep the Elder Guardian Eye nearby, since it is the mod's key drop tied to guardian-tier progression and is used across the higher tridents.

Run the Smithing Recipe

Insert the base trident item into the base slot, the upgrade material into the addition slot, and the template into the template slot. Take the finished Ancient Trident from the output slot. If the recipe does not appear, confirm you are using the exact items from the Impaled Mod registry and not a vanilla trident.

Move Up the Trident Line

Once you have the Ancient Trident, the same smithing process feeds the stronger tridents. The Elder Trident, Maelstrom, Hellfork, Pitchfork, Soulfork, Atlan, and Elder Guardian Eye are the remaining registry entries. Each upgrade follows the smithing recipe type, so always return to the smithing table with the previous trident and the next material. Do not skip tiers; each trident is the base for the next.
