How to Make Cracked Bricks, Deepslate, Prismarine, and End Stone Variants

Cracking stone-family blocks

Cracked versions of the stone families are produced by smelting or blasting the intact block. Cracked Bricks, Cracked Stone Brick Slab, Cracked Stone Brick Stairs, and Cracked Stone Brick Wall cover the stone brick set. Cracked Deepslate Brick Slab, Cracked Deepslate Brick Stairs, and Cracked Deepslate Brick Wall cover deepslate bricks; Cracked Deepslate Tile Slab, Cracked Deepslate Tile Stairs, and Cracked Deepslate Tile Wall cover deepslate tiles.

Run the plain block through a furnace or blast furnace to crack it, then cut the cracked block into slabs, stairs, and walls on a stonecutter. Cracking first and cutting second saves fuel, since one cracked block feeds all three shapes. Stockpile plain blocks before you start so you can crack a full batch in one furnace run.
