Adjust Lighting Intensity to Reduce Eye Strain

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu by pressing the default key combination while in-game (usually Right Shift + R or accessible via Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options). Look for the Horizon Reimagined settings panel.

Find Brightness Controls

Locate sliders for Brightness, Exposure, or Light Intensity. These control how vibrant and saturated the lighting appears across your world.

Reduce Values Gradually

Lower the brightness slider incrementally and observe the changes in real-time. Pay attention to how sunlit areas and shadow regions respond. If the world feels washed out, you've reduced it too far.

Fine-Tune for Comfort

Adjust until the lighting feels natural to your eyes. Daytime should feel bright without glare, and nighttime should remain visible but darker. Test in different biomes and times of day to ensure consistency.

Save Your Preferences

Once satisfied, confirm and save your shader configuration. Your settings will persist across sessions.
