Crafting the Redstone, Ender, and Custom Hooks

Redstone Hook

Mine redstone ore with an iron pickaxe or better to get redstone dust. Take the dust and sticks to a crafting table and lay them out in the shaped Redstone Hook recipe. The Redstone Hook is its own registry item and does not require any other hook as an ingredient.

Ender Hook

Defeat endermen to collect ender pearls, or trade for them. Bring ender pearls and sticks to a crafting table and arrange them in the shaped Ender Hook recipe. Like the Redstone Hook, the Ender Hook is crafted independently — no prior hook is consumed.

Custom Hook

The Custom Hook is the sixth registry item in the Hooked Mod and also uses a crafting_shaped recipe. Gather the ingredients shown in its pattern and craft it at a crafting table. Because the Custom Hook is a separate registry entry, it does not replace or upgrade any of the other five hooks.

Managing Your Hook Set

All six hooks — Wooden, Iron, Diamond, Redstone, Ender, and Custom — are independent items. You can craft them in any order as long as you have the materials. Every recipe is shaped, so always use a crafting table and mind the grid layout. Store spare hooks in a chest near your crafting area so you can quickly replace one without re-gathering rare materials like ender pearls or diamonds.
