Reduce Film Grain for Better Visibility

Open Shader Configuration

Access the shader settings menu in-game. Navigate to the HongJin Ultra Shaders options panel.

Locate Film Grain Settings

Find the Film Grain slider or Grain Intensity option. This controls the fine speckled texture overlay that gives the cinematic vintage look.

Adjust Grain Amount

• Lower the slider to reduce the grainy texture if it's distracting during detailed building or PvP
• Keep it moderate to maintain the classic cinematic aesthetic while preserving screen clarity
• Disable entirely if you prefer a clean, modern look (though this removes a signature feature)

Consider Your Activity

Many players use different grain settings for different tasks: lower grain when mining or building precise structures, higher grain when exploring or taking screenshots for atmosphere.

Apply your changes and spend time in varied lighting to ensure visibility remains comfortable. You can always adjust further if needed.
