Enhance Jade Shadows for Atmospheric Depth

Access Shadow Settings

Open the shader options menu and navigate to HongJin Ultra Shaders configuration.

Find Shadow Customization

Look for Jade Shadow Intensity, Shadow Color, or Shadow Depth options. These control the deep jade-tinted shadows that appear in unlit areas.

Increase Shadow Saturation

  • Raise the shadow intensity to make jade tones more pronounced in caves, under trees, and indoors
  • Increase shadow depth to create stronger contrast between lit and dark areas, enhancing the fantasy mood

Adjust Shadow Color Tone

If available, you can shift shadow tones slightly toward cooler jade greens or warmer jade blues depending on your preference. Cooler shadows feel more mystical; warmer shadows feel more grounded.

Test in Different Environments

Visit caves, dense forests, and indoor structures to see how enhanced shadows affect readability and atmosphere. Stronger shadows create more dramatic lighting but may reduce visibility in already-dark areas.

Balance with Brightness

If shadows become too dark, slightly increase overall brightness or ambient light settings to maintain playability.
