How to Make Adobe Blocks and Adobe Bricks

Wet to Dry

Adobe is a two-stage build. You first obtain Build/Adobe Block Wet, then let it dry into Build/Adobe Block. Place the wet blocks somewhere they can sit undisturbed; once dried, they behave as normal building blocks and can be stacked, chiseled into shapes, or broken and reused.

Do not expect wet adobe to stay wet forever. If you want to keep it workable, store it rather than placing it. Once placed, treat it as a drying step toward the finished block.

Turning Adobe into Bricks

Build/Adobe Bricks are the sturdier decorative form. Combine dried adobe into bricks, then use them wherever you would use stone bricks. They pair well with the other brick sets in the mod — Build/Bricks Mud, Build/Bricks Gypsum, and Build/Bricks Mortar — so you can mix palettes across a wall without breaking style.

For a full adobe build, plan three tiers:

• Wet adobe for the initial placement and shaping.
• Dried Build/Adobe Block for walls and floors.
• Build/Adobe Bricks for accents, pillars, and trim.

If you are short on drying space, build a flat drying platform first, lay wet blocks in a single layer, and convert them in batches. Keep a chest of dried adobe near your build site so you can swap wet blocks for finished ones as they cure.
