Enhance Glow Effects on Light Sources

Locating Glow Settings

In the shader options, find settings related to bloom, glow, or light emission. Hazy Industrial Glow includes dedicated controls for how bright light sources—like torches, lanterns, and glowstone—interact with the polluted atmosphere.

Boosting the Polluted Glow

Increase the bloom intensity or glow radius slider to make light sources spread a softer, more diffused light through the smog. This creates the characteristic industrial haze effect where streetlights and factory lights bleed into the surrounding air.

Adjust the glow color temperature if available. Warmer tones (orange, yellow) suit factory and wasteland builds, while cooler tones (blue, white) work for futuristic or sci-fi settings.

Building with Glow in Mind

Place light sources strategically—cluster them to create pools of visibility in the haze. The glow effect is most dramatic at night or in heavily shaded areas. Test your builds with the shader active to see how the polluted glow transforms your lighting design.
