Create a Post-Apocalyptic Atmosphere with Skybox Changes
How the Shader Modifies Your Sky
Hazy Industrial Glow automatically replaces your world's skybox and horizon fog with a thick, polluted atmosphere. The sun and moon struggle to shine through, and the sky takes on a murky, industrial tone rather than clear blue or night black.
Customizing Sky Appearance
In the shader settings, look for sky fog color or horizon tint options. Adjust these to match your wasteland theme—grays and browns for rust and decay, sickly yellows or greens for toxic atmospheres, or deep purples for an alien industrial world.
Some presets include separate controls for day and night sky appearance. Tweak these independently to create distinct moods: oppressive daylight and eerie, dimly-lit nights.
Building Cohesion
Pair the polluted sky with appropriate blocks: concrete, blackstone, dark wood, and metal textures complement the industrial haze. Avoid bright, clean materials that clash with the dystopian atmosphere. The shader's effect is most immersive when your terrain and structures reinforce the post-apocalyptic theme.
