Crafting Alloy and Exotic Machetes and Scythes

Alloy-tier pairs

The mod includes many alloy and exotic material tools, each as a Scythe and Machete pair: Bronze, Steel-family names such as Durasteel, plus Adamantite, Adamantium, Aquarium, Astrite, Banglum, Batet, Carmot, Celestium, Cryomarble, Dragon, Dwarven, Elven, End, Gobber, Gravitite, Hallowed, Kyber, Luss, Luxore, Metallurgium, Mithril, Mythril, Nether, Orichalcum, Osmium, Palladium, Platinum, Prometheum, Quadrillum, Runite, Star Platinum, and the Nether-tier Nether Scythe and Nether Machete.

How to craft them

Every one of these uses a crafting_shaped recipe with the named material as the head and sticks as the handle, in the same Scythe and Machete layouts as the Flint versions. If you already have the lower-tier tool and a smithing_transform recipe exists for the pair, use a smithing table instead to keep enchantments.

Choosing what to build

Prioritize the alloy whose material you can farm or craft in bulk. Build the Scythe first if you farm, the Machete first if you clear terrain. Because there are so many tiers, do not try to own every pair. Pick two or three that match your resource income, craft both the Scythe and Machete for each, and use the smithing table to push your favorite enchanted tool up a tier when a transform is available.
