Understand Shulker Box Color Coding and Fullness Indicators
Read the Fullness Bar
Each shulker box displays a colored bar on its icon showing how much storage space is occupied. A full bar means the box is at maximum capacity (27 slots filled), while a partial bar indicates available space. This visual indicator lets you quickly judge whether you can fit more items without hovering over the box.
Match Tooltip Borders to Dye Color
When you hover over a dyed shulker box, the tooltip border displays a color tint matching the dye applied to that box. This makes it easy to visually organize your boxes—for example, a red-dyed box with a red border for redstone components, or a green-dyed box for plants and organic materials. Custom names also appear in the tooltip, so you can label boxes by purpose.
Track Item Quantities
When you hover over a shulker box, item tooltips show aggregated counts. If you have multiple stacks of the same item in different slots, the tooltip displays the total combined quantity. This helps you quickly assess your total resources without manually counting individual stacks.
