Quickly Sort Items Into Multiple Shulker Boxes

Use Click-to-Insert for Fast Sorting

When you have several shulker boxes and need to distribute items quickly, the click-to-insert feature is your fastest method. Pick up a stack of items from your inventory, then click directly onto the shulker box where you want it stored. The entire stack transfers instantly without opening any menus.

Organize by Category

Arrange your shulker boxes in your inventory in a logical order—one for building blocks, one for tools, one for materials. As you collect items, click each stack onto its matching box. This keeps everything sorted without slowing down your workflow.

If a box fills up, hover over it to see the fullness bar and check remaining space before clicking more items in. When you need to swap items between boxes, hover to preview contents, scroll to find what you want, then right-click to extract it into your hand and click it into a different box.

This method is especially useful during mining trips or building projects where you're constantly picking up new materials and need to keep your main inventory slots free for tools and resources you're actively using.
