Configure Which Handy Shulker Features to Enable or Disable

Access Configuration Settings

The mod stores all customizable settings in config/handyshulkers.json. Open this file with any text editor to toggle individual features on or off based on your preferences. The configuration menu also provides an in-game interface for adjusting settings without editing files directly.

Customize Feature Behavior

You can independently enable or disable features like click-to-insert, hover preview, scroll extraction, fullness bars, and compact mode. If you prefer vanilla shulker behavior for certain mechanics, simply toggle those features off. Tooltip preferences can also be customized—adjust whether colored borders appear, how item counts display, and whether compact mode abbreviates numbers.

Maintain Vanilla Balance

Note that the mod maintains vanilla Minecraft balance by preventing shulker box nesting (storing a shulker box inside another shulker box) and preserving standard item stack sizes. These restrictions cannot be disabled through configuration. After editing the config file, restart your game or reload chunks for changes to take effect.
